The short version: your data never leaves your devices.
SwimDelta is developed by Alejandro Odreman. This policy describes how the app handles your information.
SwimDelta requests access to Apple Health (HealthKit) to:
In open water mode, the Apple Watch app uses your location (GPS) during an active workout only, solely to measure swim distance and pace. Location is never accessed outside an active workout.
Nothing. SwimDelta has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no servers. We never see, receive, transmit, or store any of your data. All workout data is stored exclusively in Apple Health on your devices, protected by Apple's security and your device passcode.
None. Health data is never shared with third parties, never used for advertising or marketing, and never leaves your device except through Apple's own iCloud Health sync, which you control in your iOS settings.
Your workout data belongs to Apple Health, not to SwimDelta. You can view or delete any workout at any time in the Apple Health app. Deleting SwimDelta removes all app-local preferences; your Health data remains under your control.
SwimDelta is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature involving data transmission — the change will be listed here with a new effective date, and the app will ask for consent before any new data use.
